Ah me.
For those of you holding your breath, no, I did not make my deadline. Yes, I'm still working on the friggin' article. Yes, I'm hating on myself. Did I mention that my mother-in-law (whom I love dearly) arrived on Saturday for a week's visit?

Oy. Do you know that Douglas Adams quote? "I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by."
I'm loving that quote a little too much. Unfortunately, I can't really blame my houseguest, who's as low-maintenance as they come and even providing me with childcare. But the good news is, I'm just about done!
